Writtle Agricultural College Project
Throughout August and September 2011 we undertook a project at Writtle Agricultural College, Essex.
The animal care department was closing its old campus and opening a brand new site with new buildings and all new animal housing. We were very lucky to be chosen as the company to undertake all the animal housing requirements.
The project consisted of a new aviary building attached to the main teaching unit, a block of pony stables, goat houses, field shelters, rabbit houses, duck houses, chicken houses and turkey houses. Some of the work was bespoke, but the majority we made to order to the college’s requirements.
The campus is now open and students are benefiting from having the animals in very usable, good quality buildings.
