The Chase is suitable for up to 10 standard sized chickens or 14 bantam sized. The house area is raised to deter vermin problems and roofed with tongue and groove covered in heavy duty mineral felt. The run is integral to the house and is covered in corrugated perspex for shelter and light. The house can be roofed in corrugated onduline instead of the wood with felt. Carrying handles run throughout the building for mobility and they also double up as day time perches for the chickens. The carrying handles are removable. The back panel of the building is completely boarded for extra protection. The Chase can also be manufactured with a wire back panel instead of the wooden, this is advisable in extremely windy areas as the shape of the Chase leaves it susceptable to blowing over if positioned facing the wind. The Chase can be manufactured with a 3' run if required

All our buildings, apart from the kennels and garden buildings, are dipped in a tank of dark creocote to preserve them.

Creocote is an oil based product. This will protect the building for 18 months. We recommend that you coat the outside of your building every 18 - 24 months to keep it in good condition.
