Midi Dell Chicken House

The Midi Dell wooden chicken ark is a high quality chicken coop with an integral run. It's part of our range of smaller chicken coops to house 6 standard size hens or up to 8 bantams.

The coop is a traditional ark shape but with the sleeping area raised off the floor give shelter underneath the chicken house and to deter vermin problems. Designed as a portable chicken coop, there are carrying handles running throughout the chicken house so it can be lifted onto fresh grass, they also double up as daytime perches for the chickens. There is a solid wooden floor in the chicken house living area with loose perches that lift out for easy cleaning of the ark. The nest box protrudes from the rear of the ark and the back board hinges down for external egg collection, the roof of the nest box is stock board rather than felt which may harbour red mites.

There is access to the chicken run from a large wire door and access to the house area through a lift off side panel. The hen house is 8' x 5' around the base of the run area, we also offer a 3' run extension which increases this to 11' x 5'. The extra run is ideal for situations where access to the garden/fields is restricted or where the chicken house cannot be moved very frequently. We also offer a pop hole in the wire end, this is a small pop hole for the chickens to be released out of rather than using the wire door. This is particularly useful in situation where dogs/sheep etc may get into the run and eat the hen food, or where a customer is attaching the building onto another fenced area.

We pre-drill most of the holes to make it easy for you to put together and all the fixings are supplied with instructions.
