This poultry hut is designed for adaptability. It can be used just as a housing unit in an electric fenced or open area, or an 8' long run can be supplied to butt up to the house so that the chickens or ducks can be kept enclosed.

It is suitable for up tp 10 poultry or 6 ducks. As standard it is supplied without the nest boxes or perches, these are an optional extra on this chicken house.

The Copse has a solid tongue and groove floor and is supplied on wooden skids which lift it off the floor by 3". The Copse can be pushed around when it needs to be moved.

There is an access door and a ventilation shutter on the front of the hut. A pop hole can be made on the side of the building if required. The roof is tongue and groove with a heavy duty mineral felt covering, the roof hinges up for an alternative access to the hut for cleaning as it is 3'4" high.

All our buildings, apart from the kennels and garden buildings, are dipped in a tank of dark creocote to preserve them.

Creocote is an oil based product. This will protect the building for 18 months. We recommend that you coat the outside of your building every 18 - 24 months to keep it in good condition.
