The Birchwood layer can be made to suit your requirements to house up to 500 free range layers.
The house photographed will accommodate up to 250 free range chickens. It is 24' x 14' + a 4' egg packing room.
It has a tama slatted floor under the perching area and a solid wooden floor in the main house for scratching requirements.
The perching area hooks up and is completely removable for easy cleaning. There are cleaning shutters at the back of the house that can be hooked up for cleaning.
The nest boxes are roll away, the eggs roll back onto a conveyor which you then turn manually from the outside, or from the egg packing room (if you have one) to collect the eggs. The nest boxes can be closed at night by either a manual system, or an automated system.
This particular house is built on 3 metal skids so that it can be towed. We can build them with or without the skids.
