Needwood 300 Chicken Shed

The Needwood 300 is a large quality wooden chicken house designed for up to 300 free range laying hens. The chicken shed is complete with metal towing skids to make it mobile so it can be moved around the fields and also metal roll away nest boxes to keep the eggs clean and away from egg eaters. The nest boxes sit within the house and the eggs roll backwards into external egg collection cupboards.

The Needwood 300 hen house has 12 weldmesh covered sliding glass windows for ventilation and light. The perches are designed as a slatted sloping floor with a droppings pit underneath. The droppings pit cannot be reached by the birds, so the droppings don't get compressed which makes cleaning a lot easier.

For cleaning the perches hook up and the perch benches slide out easily to give a clear area. There are also large droppings shutters at the rear of the chicken house for cleaning, which hook up. The Needwood chicken houses are built on metal skids as standard so they are mobile, if these are not required we can supply the building on wooden skids.
